Painting - Fiona

This is an unusual painting for me. I rarely paint portraits and I have only used oil paint a handful of times. I was pleased with the results. I am interested in working more with people and figures in my paintings. This was the first attempt. It was not a self portrait, it was done after a woman in a magazine. I will say that during painting it I had the thought of Fiona Apple in my head, so that might have come out a bit! That is why I call her Fiona.

Painting - Heart Strings

This was my second attempt at oil. I wanted to look at the idea of heart strings. Those things which seem to pull at the strings of our hearts seem so mysterious to me sometimes. I have moments when I can almost feel my heart. Moments of joy and sadness which affect me on such a deep level.

Hand Painted Lamp

This hand painted lamp looks beautiful when all lit up at night!

Flower Lamp

This lamp is hand made using fabric and paper mache. It comes with a great little base. It gives off a very warm inviting light :-)

This little table is perfect for a small space, it could also be used outside.

We used this bench to work on our boards as well as store them. There are lots of hooks and things to hang all your gear on.

Cutting Block/Side Table/Storage...

I built this piece as a cutting block, but it wasn't long before it was used for storage! The toaster oven needs to go as well.

Unstained Bookshelf

Dimensions: 27" X 61" X 9"

This piece is hand built and useful in a rec. room for organizing!

Lamp

This lamp has a hand painted lamp shade, and a beautiful base. It gives any dark room a warm glow.
